Arwen Lentz - publisher
Arwen was born into a publishing family and grew up within a deeply spiritual environment, the kind of grounded and earth-connected spirituality that she still follows. She was blessed with a very healthy and harmonious childhood, in the wonderful natural surroundings of the natural Parc of the Voges du Nord. Her adolescence, however, was full of turmoil; she needed to find herself, and, like many of us, she is still doing so today.
At the tender age of 17, Arwen decided to learn the profession of publishing at her father’s business. Then, after 3 years of learning, came her time for discovering the world. She worked as a salesperson in an esoteric shop and soon became the manager of an esoteric tradeshow (Harmony World – Baden-Baden). At the age of 25 she felt it was time to reach for more independence and autonomy, and so she started her own business.
So, after many twists and turns, life finally led Arwen to become a publisher, just like her father who has owned a publishing house, Neue Erde Verlag, for the past twenty-five years. Starting out with her own imprint, Earthdancer, in 2005, she now presents a small but well-selected list of books, including many titles on crystal healing, and featuring the well-known crystal expert Michael Gienger, among others.
In her private life, Arwen is a devoted mother and loves to read (of course). She also loves being out in nature, hiking in the Black Forest. Knitting has become a favourite pastime on long winter evenings, and she very much enjoys profound discussions with friends and family about the many facets of life.
It is Arwen’s belief that life is full of opportunities, and when we dance the dance of life on this earth we can truly be an Earthdancer. |

Marina Costelloe showed clairvoyant abilities at a very young age and has been "reading" since she was six. She enjoys studying tarot, astrology, crystals, alchemy, past life, colour therapy, and Jungian Psychology. Marina Credits her talents to her ancestry, her grandfather was an English Romany (gypsy). Marina is married and mother to a Crystal Child. Discovering that everyone can benefit from a blend of astrology, numerology, sabian symbols and crystals motivated Marina to write, and keep writing. Marina started sharing the sacred information that was presented in personal crystal astrology natal charts in a clear, light, and modern way. Working in perfect synchronicity with her life, the Crystal Astrology has been miraculous at times.

Michael Gienger defines himself as a natural scientist whose research work extends throughout the breadth of natural science. For him, nature is an abundant book in which one can discover and understand the secrets of life simply by observing and immersing oneself in it.
Since his childhood Michael Gienger is interested in stones, this lead him to his first encounter with minerals: while hiking in Tyrol / Austria he found a garnet. His interest in mineralogy awoke (1972 at the age of eight years!) and he began to gather all information he could on mineralogy, collecting minerals of all kind and reading books on the composition of stones and crystalline structures. Later on he visited evening classes on mineralogy and his favorite school subject became chemistry. This is was what he studied later on at Stuttgart.
In 1985 he gave up the studies as they weren’t giving him the answers he was seeking for, science can’t answer what is behind matter and that was the real question.
At that time he went through a deep inner process including illnesses and accidents. It is then he first experienced the healing effects of crystals through curing himself with an emerald from a severe sinusitis. Against his beliefs at that time, and after having tried all “normal” remedies, this was what really helped him.
Again he gathered all information he could find, it was not really satisfying because many statements on healing effects were contradictory so he went to find more answers. He studied other natural healing therapies such as Shiatsu, Chinese medicine and he went to the school of natural medicine. Besides this he kept on experimenting with crystals.
In 1988 he discovered the great demand for information on this subject and 1989 he decided to start a research group. From 1989 till 1993 they tested the healing effects of the crystals following established principles of testing new medicines. Everyone should wear the same stone for a given period of time and report the effects on mind, body and soul: the results of these studies where amazing. In a final step, these results where tested by doctors and natural healing therapists, with positive feedback.
From then on seminars were offered to people interested in the subject, and in 1996 his first book was published in German.
In 1997 he founded a wisdom school, the Cairn Elen Lebensschule, many of his students have done great work in this field themselves.
His work forms a bridge between science and spirituality; it is for this unique approach that his work is so popular: he understood that the mineralogy and the healing effects of the crystals are related in a very profound way with each other.
Now Michael Gienger is known for some twenty publications in Germany and four publications so far in English including his popular work Die Steinheilkunde which has been published in English under the title of Crystal Healing, Crystal Power.
He is still investigating in the topic of healing crystals, always testing out new stones and holding lectures as far as his tight schedule allows it. He is an author and an editor for books on crystal healing and always widening his knowledge. His books are standards of natural medicine and he is known as a top authority on crystal healing.

Joachim Goebel; even in early childhood, was always irresistibly drawn to the water element. Playful activities with water deepened into natural curiosity in his youth, and he became increasingly interested in the study of this natural phenomenon. His interest in healing grew steadily at the same time. Joachim Goebel studied medicine and then dedicated himself, in parallel, to Ayurvedic studies and various different natural healing processes. In this connection he recognized water as the elixir of life in this, our mortal state, and he devoted himself with even greater commitment to the holistic research of water. In 1997, he was introduced to the subject of crystal healing. Further inspired by the teachings of the medieval naturalist Hildegard von Bingen, Joachim Goebel began his ‘water and gem’ research in 1998. At the time, gem water was largely unheard of, so he began with initial examinations and trials. They were so successful that the subject of gem water became the focus of his daily professional activities. As a lecturer in crystal healing he gives talks, seminars and training on the subject of gem water and also offers personal consultations.

Even as a child, Monika Grundmann wanted to be a massage therapist. However, after leaving school she fell into an office job and belatedly completed her beauty therapy course while working. She soon realised that her interest lay not just in the physical, but in all aspects of the body – the person as a whole. She studied psycho - physiognomy and completed her training as a non-medical practitioner.
As a result of her training in the use of cosmetics Monika Grundmann was already very experienced in the power of touch, but she was now searching for a way to use touch as a positive influence on the whole person. She looked at Shiatsu, aromatherapy massage, Bach flower remedies, colour and sound treatments, and other areas, but training in crystal therapy with Michael Gienger finally brought her a better understanding of gems and their healing properties. She then began incorporating crystals in her own treatments in various ways.

Maria Isabel Cintra da Silveira was born in São Paulo in 1965. She graduated from FAAP in 1987 as a Business Administrator specializing in Marketing, before working for three years in the financial markets.
In 1989, great inner changes saw Isabel begin a path of studies in search of the necessary knowledge for her transformation and growth. The book Dancing in the Light, written by the actress Shirley MacLaine, was the landmark discovery on her spiritual journey.
In 1995 Isabel met the Crystal master, Antonio Duncan. As well as imparting his vast knowledge and expertise, Duncan was responsible for awakening in Isabel her gift of connection with the mineral realm and taught her how to ‘listen’ to crystals.
Crystals have since become a means of expression in Isabel’s life, part of her day-to-day activities, both personally and professionally.
Isabel has developed a singular ability to relate the functions of crystals with themes approached by Radioesthesy, Radionics, Shamanism, Kabbalah and Mythology. Through her work, theoretical concepts, sometimes abstract, achieve manifest and concrete form through a ‘crystalline embodiment’. The result is an incredibly effective means of assimilating those concepts into our lives, allowing the necessary transformation and growth for our evolutionary process.

Ewald Kliegel was born in the countryside of Bavaria (Germany) in 1957, under the sign of Gemini. By the age of 19 he had already heard, and been challenged by, his calling to be a healer and a teacher. His initial contact with healing came about through a practical training in a hospital, which led to his becoming a practicing massage therapist and naturopath. Ewald’s teaching career began with a practice in a school for handicapped children, which led to his becoming a lecturer in holistic therapies, reflexology, and gemstone applications. These activities were accompanied by extensive travelling throughout Asia, the establishment of fitness spas in Swiss first-class hotels, and a clinic project at the Cape of Good Hope in South Africa. Everywhere he went Ewald found new approaches to healing, which he then integrated into his work.

Ulrich Metz was born with an immense creative streak. Over the last fifteen years, before developing the Joya® massage method, Ulrich worked as a sculptor, using and combining materials that reflect a highly developed feel for sensory opposites. Glass and metal, wood and stone, bone and metal, bronze and marble – there are very few materials available to sculptors that Ulrich has not explored and combined.
Ulrich Metz lived in South Africa from 1995 to 1996 and there deepened his knowledge and sensitivity for the connections between humans and natural materials. It was also there that he first encountered the healing powers of crystals.
Though some years later, these direct and personal experiences became the impulse behind the Joya® massage roller. Since then, Ulrich has further developed the Joya® principle into other products, which have expanded the possibilities for massage still further.
